Gender Reveal

Jack and I decided to find out the gender of our baby in a creative way, but we wanted it to still just be the 2 of us.  So, we decided to do a photo shoot.  We got our amazing photographer Kristin, with KLP Photography, to do our shoot.  We went to the doctor and gave the ultrasound tech an envelope.  We asked her not to tell us the gender but to put the results in an envelope.  We just closed our eyes when she got to our baby's bottom half.  She put the results in the envelope, and we took it to Party City with a box I had already decorated.  We left the box with Party City, and they filled it with the color of balloons to match the gender of our baby.  So, we didn't find out our baby's gender until the photo shoot.  It was a lot of fun, and I am so glad that we did it. We were really excited to find out that way and even more to find out our baby's gender.  :)

How we told our friends and family....The cake was made by Bettye Rose Bakery.  Her stuff is amazing!!  She has done our wedding cake and our gender cake! We love her!
