For every dinner, My Aunt Betsy used to make this Chocolate Delight Cake. Everyone loved it!! Tye ended up requesting it as his dessert for his birthday!! We called around for a while trying to find the recipe. It is VERY easy to make and VERY delicious!!
Ingredients:cream cheese
cool whip
1 lrg box Chocolate Pudding (and ingredients needed for the pudding)
Graham Crackers (We use Vanilla Waffers)
1 stick of butter3 T milk
nuts (optional)
Directions:
1. First you use a blender of food processor to chop up the crust. Mom likes to use vanilla waffers and add pecans. Once you chop the cookies up, you had a stick of melted butter. Stir the butter and then press the crust in a 9x13 inch pan.2. Next you are going to whip together 3 T milk and 1 block of cream cheese. You will whip this with a mixer until it forms a chunky butter consistency.
3. Then you are going to fold in the tub of cool whip.
4. Spread the cool whip/cream cheese mixture on top of the crust and place it in the fridge for about 15 minutes.5. Make the chocolate pudding according to the directions.
6. Once cream cheese mixture is more firm, pour the chocolate pudding on top.
7. Place back in the fridge until ready to eat.
