Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I turned 25! Very exciting!! I am now half way to 50!!! Time really flies by! Anyways, I had a GREAT birthday!! Good times with good friends!! It was a very memorable day and has a hilarious story to go with it!! Marshall and I went out on the boat "high maintenance" with Kaybe and Bud. The plan was to drive to the marina have lunch and come back (it was a very cold day). On our way to the marina the boat breaks down. So, Bud calls his boat guy, and we found out that the problem is electrical. This meant that there is nothing that we could do, and we were going to have to be towed back to shore. So, Bud calls some friends of theirs to come and tow us to their lake house. While we were waiting, Bud gets out his paddle to help keep us from the shore. While he is paddling, the paddle breaks. At the exact same time, Marshall and Bud yell "WILSON!!!!!" It was quite funny! After waiting a while, Bud and Kaybe's friends get there to pull us to their lake house. While we are being pulled, we take a break for a minute and Bud decides to get something out of his boat. Once we started to move again, the rope BROKE!! haha. He hooks a new rope to the boat and we are on our way again. Once we get to the lake house, Bud tries to keep the boat from hitting the side of the dock. While he is doing this, he falls in!!! Please keep in mind that it is a VERY chilly day. The temp of the water took his breath away. After we got Bud's clothes dried, we were able to borrow their friend's truck to drive back to Kingston. We stopped and ate at Cancuns for our "lunch." It was a wonderful and very memorable day!! I had a blast. The turn of events just added more fun and humor to the day! It really was a GREAT day with GREAT friends!!! Thank you Bud and Kaybe for such a wonderful birthday! Love you guys!!!
